In July/August 2008 RustSolutions was asked to carry out full rust proofing and protection of machine A in the MacDermid Autotype Factory in Grove, Oxford.

RustSolutions had the paint made to exact speciifications, to withstand high temeratures and protect all the metalwork for the next 5 years to come. Our team also prepared all the metal before degreasing, then primed and topcoated with special order high temp aluminium paint.

All our staff stayed in nearby accomodation to complete the work within a 14 day shutdown - We achieved it in 12 days, 2 days before target. The site safety and facilities at MacDermid were excellent at all times, along with well planned shutdown and great communication with MacDermid staff and employees - This all helped RustSolutions reach the deadline in advance.

Some hard to reach areas had to be sanded by hand, other panels were sanded by machine, then degreased.
