2. What types of plastic can this primer be used on?

3. Do I need to sand the plastic before applying the primer?

Light sanding with fine-grit sandpaper (e.g., 400-600 grit) can improve adhesion, but some primers are designed to bond without sanding. Refer to the product instructions for best results.

4. How do I apply Plastic Primer Aerosol?

Clean the plastic surface thoroughly to remove dust, grease, or wax.

Shake the can well for at least 1-2 minutes.

Hold the can about 8-12 inches from the surface and apply light, even coats.

Allow the primer to dry as per the manufacturer’s recommendations before applying the topcoat.

5. How long does it take to dry?

Drying times vary depending on temperature and humidity, but most plastic primers dry to the touch within 10-20 minutes and are ready for topcoat application in about 1 hour.

1. Apply directly to a cool surface

Shake the can thoroughly for at least two minutes. Repeat shaking at regular intervals during use. Apply sparingly from a distance of 20 – 25cm. Apply typically 2 to 3 coats or as necessary to achieve total and even coverage, leaving 10 - 15 minutes between each application.

2. Allow to dry

Allow at least 30 minutes to dry thoroughly before applying a topcoat. Suitable for use with both water-based and oil-based topcoats.

3. Storage & Reuse
