1. What is JENOLITE Chrome Spray Paint?

JENOLITE Chrome Spray Paint is a high-quality, metallic silver decorative spray designed to create a bright, reflective chrome-like finish. Suitable for both interior and exterior use, it provides excellent corrosion resistance and withstands temperatures up to 90°C.

3. Does it need a primer before application?

For most surfaces, no primer is required. However, for bare or highly porous materials, using a suitable primer can enhance adhesion and durability.

4. Can it be used on plastic?

Yes — it is specially formulated to bond to plastic without peeling or flaking. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and lightly sanded before application.

5. Can it be used on wood?

Yes. The chrome spray can be applied directly to wood surfaces, providing a smooth, reflective finish. Ensure the wood is dry, dust-free, and smooth for best results.

6. Is it heat resistant?

Yes. JENOLITE Chrome Spray Paint is temperature resistant up to 90°C, making it suitable for items like radiators, motorbike parts, ornaments, and household fixtures.

7. Does it dry quickly?

Yes — the paint dries to the touch within 60 minutes under normal conditions. Allow adequate time for full curing before handling or exposing to heat.

8. Can it be used outdoors?

Absolutely. The paint is UV and weather-resistant, making it ideal for outdoor applications as well as indoor decorative use.

9. What kind of finish does it leave?

It provides a highly reflective, glossy metallic silver finish, resembling polished chrome.

10. How do I apply it?

1. Use only in well-ventilated areas.
   
2. Clean the surface — remove all traces of oil, grease, old paint, and rust.
   
3. Shake the can well until the agitator ball rattles.
   
4. Hold 15–30 cm away and spray in smooth, even strokes.
   
5. Apply thin, even layers rather than one thick coat.
   
6. Allow 60 minutes drying time between coats and before handling.
   

11. How should I store the can after use?

After use, invert the can and spray for a few seconds to clear the nozzle. Store in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and temperatures above 50°C.

12. Is the finish durable?

Yes. Once cured, the coating forms a long-lasting, corrosion-resistant surface that maintains its metallic sheen over time.

1. Only use In well ventilated areas
Remove all traces of oil and grease with a suitable degreaser. Ensure you remove old paint and loose rust with steel wool or wire brush. Shake the can well before use so that the agitator ball can be heard rattling. Spray in smooth strokes from 15-30cm away. Coat the surface with a thin and even layer.

2. Allow time to dry
To fully cure, allow the product to dry for 60 minutes drying time. Extremes of temperature affect drying performance.

3. Storage & Reuse
On completion of use, invert can and depress actuator for a few seconds to prevent nozzle blockage. This aerosol should be stored out of direct sunlight, in temperatures below 50°C and in a cool well ventilated place. Consult Safety Data Sheet for more information.
