7. How do I prepare the surface before spraying?

Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, or loose rust/paint. Lightly sand glossy surfaces to aid adhesion. Shake the can thoroughly for 1–2 minutes before use.

8. How should I apply the paint?

1. Hold the can 15–30 cm from the surface.
2. Apply in smooth, even strokes, building up several light coats rather than one heavy coat.
3. Allow around 10–15 minutes drying time between coats for the best results.

9. How long does it take to dry?

The paint is touch dry within 15–30 minutes and can be handled or recoated after 1 hour. Allow 24 hours for a full cure and maximum durability.

10. Can I use a lacquer or topcoat over it?

Yes. Once fully dry, you can apply a clear lacquer to enhance gloss, depth, and long-term protection if desired.

11. How much area does one can cover?

A 400ml aerosol typically covers approximately 1–2 square metres, depending on the surface texture and number of coats applied.

12. How should I store the can after use?

To prevent nozzle blockages, invert the can after use and spray for 2 seconds. Store in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and temperatures above 50°C.

1. Preparation
Prepare the area to be treated, ensuring free from dust, grime, greases, oils etc, using an appropriate degreaser. Corrosion, other surface contamination, and loosely adhering matter should be removed using a stiff brush or an appropriate grade of wet and dry abrasive paper.

2. Apply directly to a cool surface
Shake the can well before use so that the agitator ball can be heard rattling. Spray in smooth strokes from 15-30cm away. Coat the surface with a thin and even layer.

3. Allow time to dry between coats
Repeat the process 3-4 times for the maximum protection, allowing 15 minutes drying time between each coat.

4. Storage & Reuse
To prevent blockages, invert the can after use and spray for 2 seconds. This aerosol should be stored out of direct sunlight, in a cool well ventilated place. Consult the safety data sheet for more information.
