4. How do I prepare the surface?

  1. Remove oil, grease, and dirt from the surface.
  2. Remove loose paint or rust using steel wool or a wire brush.
  3. Ensure the surface is cool and dry before application.
  4. Priming the surface beforehand is recommended for optimal adhesion and durability.

5. How do I apply the spray?

  1. Shake the can well until the agitator ball rattles.
  2. Spray from 15–30 cm away in smooth, even strokes.
  3. Apply thin, light coats, allowing drying time between layers for a smooth, durable finish.

6. What colours are available?

  • JCB Yellow
  • Atco Green
  • Battleship Grey
  • Graphite Grey

7. Can it be used outdoors?

Yes. The paint is weather-resistant, making it ideal for outdoor machinery, lawnmowers, and equipment.

8. How long does it take to dry?

Drying time depends on temperature and humidity, but the fast-drying formula allows for quick application and minimal downtime. Multiple light coats are recommended for best results.

9. How should I store the aerosol?

  • Store in a cool, well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight or heat.
  • After use, invert the can and spray for 2 seconds to prevent nozzle blockage.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

10. What common mistakes should I avoid?

  • Spraying on dirty, greasy, or wet surfaces — clean thoroughly first.
  • Applying thick coats — multiple thin coats give a more even, durable finish.
  • Skipping primer — for bare metal, priming enhances adhesion and longevity.
  • Ignoring nozzle clearing — failing to clear the nozzle after use may cause blockages.

1. Apply directly to a cool surface
Remove all traces of oil or grease. Remove old paint and loose rust with steel wool or wire brush. Shake the can well before use so that the agitator ball can be heard rattling. Spray in smooth strokes from 15-30cm away. Apply to the surface in light even coats. For the best results apply to a primed surface.

2. Storage & Reuse
To prevent blockages, invert the can after use and spray for 2 seconds. This aerosol should be stored out of direct sunlight, in a cool well ventilated place. Consult the safety data sheet for more information.
